What if you were an artist?
In my mind, art is a spark of joy full of bright colors. I suppose we all have in our soul a free space to play, to allow our essence to flow and express its true nature. But some people are quite special, they really have a gift to generate emotions that lead us to progress or even beyond, towards transformation.
When I’m working on identifying someone’s potential, I'm always surprised to discover how many people are actually completely ignoring their artist nature. So if you're reading this and you believe you have no specific gift, have no idea why you're on Earth, well maybe you might consider this possibility. The possibility that, maybe, the best way to bring your contribution to this world and be happy is through art.
But first, let me quickly tell you more about soul families, so you can have a wider picture. For sure, you'll find many books about soul families so be aware that I'm simply sharing my own vision, according to my professional experience, there's no academic knowledge here. If you have a different opinion, that's all fine, you'll still understand the message of this article.
During sessions with a client, when we're working on unfolding potential talents, I find it always interesting to understand the soul purpose to get a larger context. I usually identify that people belong to one of these four simplified categories:
- The builders: they help civilizations to progress thanks to technical and material innovations.
- The teachers: they share their knowledge to help people progress thanks to education.
- The healers: they help people align their body, emotions, and mind to their soul so they can fully incarnate, progress and bring their contribution to this world.
- The artists: they help us progress by generating a wide range of emotions, touching our heart and therefore opening our consciousness.
I won't elaborate further because I think I could really write a book about the idea and it's not the point! Of course, it's not because you have the soul of a teacher that teaching should be your job. It means, for example, that you have specific talents to explain a complex concept to people so they immediately understand what you mean. Maybe it's easy for you to find different ways and therefore the best way to explain an idea to a person who's got troubles to get it. You find the right words and people listen to you, you know how to tell stories. You love to pass on your knowledge as a precious heritage and be the witness of people's evolution. These are great qualities whether you're a parent, a team manager, a salesman, a journalist... You get the idea.
So, why am I focusing your attention on artists? Well, I don't know in your country but in France, we don't value artistic talents. As children, we are raised to use our intellectual skills to get a good paying and safe job. And art is not part of the equation. Parents, school, the society, everything around us tell it's not important. Our creative/artistic talents are so poorly valued that we don't even consider exploring them as a way of fulfillment for ourselves. Even worst, a lot of people consider they have no creative talent like if it was an immovable fact. Period. I was one of them. Let's be honest, I'm not a true artist but I discovered I'm quite a creative person when I'm working. Why? Because when I'm in a session, I'm fully aligned with myself, I'm fully connected to the universe, I allow myself to receive the inspiration, the "divine breath". Everything is available to me. True artists who embrace their calling have a constant connection to the divine. They are not limited by their mind. That's where the beauty lies. But when they don't make space for their heart calling to radiate as they grow up, their world turns to black and white. No more colors. It's not as extreme for other soul families. For instance, if you're a healer, no matter what is your job, the carer within you will always find a way to be present for others. But for artists, it's like if a part of them is completely shut down. I'm always surprised to realize how many people come to me for a lack of purpose, nearly depressed, and have no idea of the artistic nature of their soul. Even worst, they firmly deny it. I love working with soul artists. Their energy brings so much beauty to our sessions that they can be really mesmerizing! As I'm writing, I'm thinking of this young woman. We were guided to the Akashic Records to explore a past life and reconnect her to her gifts. I usually directly see a list of records featured in a carousel or a drop-down menu, like on a computer. This time, I had no idea what was happening. At first, we were watching a white movie theater screen. Then, she stood up, took some big brushes and started to paint huge strokes of colors on the screen that suddenly became a tremendous canvas. I watched her play for a while until I realize she was painting a gateway that drove us to the Akashic library. It was a long session and I enjoyed every step of the way. It took two sessions for her to accept the idea that she got some kind of artistic talents and allow herself to explore the idea.
Whether you're a true artist or not, do an effort to make room for creative expression in your life. When we're on a creative mode, we allow a place to receive inspiration. Let the magic happen, it might be a solution, a new idea, an understanding, a vision. It will enable you to bring "more" in your life. If you're a true artist, it will open the door for your gifts to reveal themselves to you and find the alignment you need to bring this special contribution only you can give to this world.
